With prices soaring locally for the past 3 years, ever wonder what's going on around the rest of the country? Sure, we hear that it's "worse" in California, but here is an article that reveals the most expensive markets in the country by zip code.

We'll save you a little trouble: nothing in King County shows up until number 60, Medina, Wa, 98039 where the 2005 Median Home Sale Price was $1,235,000. The next time a Washington zip code shows is not until Mercer Island at about number 335 on the list with a median home sale price of about $750,000.
